Our little Grade Rs took part in a Netgirlies competition on the 30th of October at Randburg Hoër... they all had tons of fun and learnt lots too.

CONGRATULATIONS

A Huge congrats to Daniel Ellis in Grade 3 who got his Gauteng colours for Cross Country last Saturday.
He was won ALL the cross country events this season.

Athletics

Our school has entered a D10 league and all the meetings will be held on Wednesdays, whereby we will run against other local school.

We are also proud to be part of the G7 league, and these events will be hosted on certain Saturdays at specific events.

13 and 14 September SACSSA Nationals - hosted at Pilditch Statdium in Pretoria

The athletes HAVE TO compete in at least one of the G7 events to qualify for SACSSA Nationals.  It is preferable for athletes to attend both events so as to get an opportunity to either get a better time or possibly qualify the second time around.

Netball uniform

All netball uniforms received from the uniform shop must please be returned cleaned, in a plastic bag and clearly labelled with the players name, surname and class. Please return it by no later than  Wednesday 5 June 2013.

Soccer News

All Soccer teams will be having their party on Wed 29 May on the soccer field.
Please send your little soccer player with some snacks and drinks to share for the party

If your daughter receives a letter and she is told that she is the reserve, she must please come to the match and be ready to play.  We sometimes have a player who is sick or can't play and then she needs to be there. Thank you for your support in that regard.

Players should return their reply slips the day after the letter was handed out.  No girl is allowed to play without permission from her parents/guardian.

NWCS Netball Clinics

The information letters were sent out to the u/010-u/13 netball players for the Melinet Netball Clinic taking place on Friday 11 April and Saturday 12 April.  Please confirm via email or sms  to Ms Bam's detail given on the letter before 31 March 2013.  Thank you for all the letters and confirmations already received.  

The Mini Netball Clinic by Nett-Girlies for u/7-u/9's will take place on Friday 26 April and Saturday 27 April at NWCS.  More information will follow on the Netball page.

SACSSA 2013

Inter house Soccer and Netball

Our annual soccer and netball inter house will take place on Friday15 March during school time from12:00-13:30.  All the grades 4-7’s will participate unless there is a medical reason.  Learners bring their school bag on Friday and school will continue as normal should it rain.

The learners must wear their house (David, Samson and Caleb) shirt, PE shorts, sport cap and sports tekkies.  Bring a water bottle and sun block.
